This is what you get when you have two adorable Chinese-Australians getting married in Thailand. This was actually shot many years ago and I had always planned on making a fun public version and once I heard this song, I thought it fit them perfectly. And if anyone wants to know where you can go on this planet to sweat more than being in Bahrain, it’s Thailand in July. Enjoy.
I’ve never really sought out any accolades. I don’t even know if I can pin down a single reason why either. No time? Not good enough? Fear of rejection? At some point in my career I’ve felt each of these emotions. I guess that is all part of what it takes to try to make a living as an “artist” (or possibly a curse). But somehow this happened. Not exactly sure how, but I’m not going to lie, it made my day. I’m so happy to say that the original Iceland Wedding Film “66° North” won Best Wedding Video 2014 in the Junebug Weddings Choice Awards. YES!
