Yesterday I got back from a short trip to Haiti with the intent of documenting the progress of the relief efforts and condition of the people. The film is in my backlist of projects to edit, but I had to share a few screen caps of what is to come as well as a few photos I took. The conditions are unimaginable. Try thinking of the worst place you’ve ever seen on TV and then multiply it by 10. It’s horrifying. There are serious problems and it leaves you wondering where and how do you start to repair? The government is corrupt and they were poor to begin with. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the detailed film with more on the conditions and corruption of the already forgotten island.

I just got back from a very short trip to the High Sierras, CA. I have always wanted to capture the beauty of it and share it with those who may have never been there, or those looking to remember the feelings of it all. Why did I choose this song? Well, I don’t think you can go to a place like this and not have a spiritual experience, a place to search your soul and get away from the world. It’s my place for spiritual renewing. I hope you enjoy. I have a feeling this will be the first of many, if only I can get my pack lighter next time… (and yes, those lakes really are turquoise)
